Yearly cost 170 dollars Eve charges you 15 dollars a month, then trumpet "free expansions" which idiots get excited about. yearly cost 180 dollars Net result using both models is you have paid the same amount ish. Also net result is stupid people think they are getting some sort of deal. SKUNK Well, to you, Mr Conspiracy, this "forum sucker" will say this; How do you know what the monthly subscription fee would be without the free expansions? Let me answer that. You can't know that. In fact, EVEs subscription fees have been higher since day one i believe. This is due to a couple of fair facts; A: smaller company then multi-millionbillion ones(like Bliz). B: Smaller community, ergo, need for more ú$Ç/customer. C: The running costs for a completely different server, and again, smaller income to do so. Now i do believe your problem with CCP lies somewhere completely elsewhere, as proven by the blatant hatred in previous post towards expansions. I don't hate the expansions, I am happy to pay for the expansions, and indeed I do every month multiple times. I understand to prevent the game stagnating - CCP must allocate resources, and these resources must be hired, and these resources cost money, and this money must come from the players of the game. Whilst I wouldn't critices your writing abilty - I would point out your sycophantic urges to get a pat on the head from a dev leading to the creation of such thread are desperate. I tried discussing the issue, but when someone neglects to read other points and only acts hostile, it becomes pointless. As i have shown, you initiated personal insults, and were the first to speculate on motives for posting. Both of which you complained about and indeed still complain about. My suggest then as now - is one should check their own posts for what they are complaining about - if one wishes to avoid being hypocritical. Funny that - quotation marks are normally used when you are quoting someone.
